The other day when Peter woke up from his nap Charlotte decided to get in Peter’s crib and play with him. They were having such a good time I decided to get the camera and take some pictures.
Yes – I know that Halloween is still weeks away, but in October in Saskatchewan there is no guarantee we wont be in the midst of a blizzard by the 31st.
The leaves are so beautiful right now and the weather has been abnormally warm so I decided it would be a great time to get out and photograph the kids in their costumes. Now at Halloween I can concentrate on collecting candy 😛
I really wish I had gotten her other foot in the frame. Oh well.
Yah – he doesn’t look impressed AT ALL.
Little Red Riding Hood is obviously terrified of the Big Bad Monster!
Every year we go out to the farm after the pumpkins have been harvested to take some photos of Charlotte with the pumpkins. This year Peter was included (and Charlotte spent most of the time dancing with “her” scarecrow).
Haha! I love his expression here!
It’s been a while since I posted any new pictures here – that’s because I had a whole pile on my camera that I totally forgot about!
About a month ago my brother and sister-in-law came up for a visit and while they were here we decided to see what my niece thought of the jolly jumper. She had pretty much the same reaction to it that my kids did the first time – hang out, kick the feet a bit, and lick the straps.
Peter looks like a giant beside Ruby!
Not intimidate by his size she figured she would snack on his arm.
Of course Charlotte wanted to get in on the action – with her trademark “fake smile”.
Last week we had planned a getaway to the waterpark in Prince Albert but it didn’t work out for one reason or another. The day was supposed to be nice and warm (didn’t get as warm as they predicted but that was ok) so I invited some friends and their kiddo’s over to run in our sprinklers. I even got in on the action as well (but there is no photographic evidence thank goodness!)
(poor girl got attacked by mosquitos in the 5 minutes she was outside without repellant
Summer just isn’t complete without at least one trip out to Peyton Beach for a weiner roast.
There really isn’t anything a kid loves more than a big stick…except perhaps a cardboard box.
She wanted to see the minnows( or Nemo’s as she calls them) but didn’t want to get her feet in the water.
Peter testing out the water for the first time.
Not super impressed.
Peewee and grandma.
Playtime in the bug-free shade.
